Buying Reloaded Ammo?

If an ODT individual was selling a firearm along with the ammo they reloaded, what stipulations would you require to feel safe shooting said ammo if you bought it?

I just wouldn’t feel safe. Why risk injuring yourself and or destroying a firearm?

I bought a lot of reloaded ammo back 2011. I fired a few mags. It was hot but thankfully not deadly. I still have some left. I was told when it comes to reloading less is more

I’ve had 2 serious issues with reloaded ammo. probably would never risk buy reloads again.

If they are selling the gun and giving you the reloaded ammo they have for it, It would be for components. I would request the load data they had pull the bullets use the primers brass and bullets as components. Buy new bullets to work up the load they had for it and see if it works for me.

I would not buy some ones reloads though

Take the ammo and pull the bullets and reload it your self. The only kabooms I have had was from factory ammo and factory reloads. I have been reloading since 78 never had a mishap. The people who taught me how to reload told me to check, re-check and check again. Check your case when you resize, check when you install the primer, check the powder charge and check when you seat the bullet for length and crimp.

I made it a point a long time ago when I noticed all the reloader ammo out there for sale and decided that I'd never buy or shoot ammo that comes in a plastic baggie with a sticky label.

I throw reloads in the trash and I very closely inspect any firearm that has used them.
