Basically what the title says. Can I use the sb47 in my OAL measurement on my pap pistol? If I do I get over that 26" mark to classify it as simply a firearm.

Yeah, I'm kinda lost too.

Yea I dont know what the OP is trying to do. The only time you would be concerned with the OAL of a pistol is when you want to do a Form 1 and you need the OAL which is really just a rough estimate anyways. A pistol is any gun with a barrel shorter than 16" and no stock. Stock turns it into a rifle if the barrel is 16"+ or an SBR if its under 16".

I'm not making an sbr and the sig brace is not a stock. I want to know if I can include the length of the sig brace to my overall length of my pap PISTOL so I can get over the 26" threshold and add a vfg.

This is what I'm working with.
