Carrying at the mall of Georgia

Posted businesses are not listed in GA firearms law. If a business notices the gun they can ask you to leave, if you don't they can trespass you. There is some good info in this thread please read up on it.

Bullseye. Their (mountainpass & friends) website, GeorgiaCarry.Org, is a terrific resource that I refer every student that comes through our classes to.

Had a friend carry in the MoGA. His CC evidently printed as it was summer. They did not ask him to leave. Someone called the cops who escorted him out and barely escaped a trip to the pokey as he assumed the position and provided the LEO with a GWL. A big Gestapo hassle as he put it. Wouldn't be a nice night with the kids going to the movie, or a date. I would not leave a firearm in a mall parking lot unless secured some way.

Don't do that. Don't just give in. I know it was confusing to me too but arm yourself with knowledge first. That is what you are trying to do - carry on.

Protective measures is about as credible source as you will find, bonified

pm any of us and we will give you help and links to the information.

Please provide a link to that current GA Code that states this law. I don't think you'll be able to.

No Signage Laws

A "No Firearms" sign on a private business does not mean anything. If your firearm is noticed, they simply ask you to leave. If the police arrive and you still refuse to leave you can be charged with criminal trespass. You keep your permit even if convicted.
However, some legitimate places that are off limits (such as those listed above) may have signs posted to inform you they are off-limits. You will lose your permit for several years if caught and convicted.
So, just because you see a sign does not mean it is or isn't off-limits and just because you don't see a sign does not mean it is or isn't off-limits.

Which is what I was referring to in post # 28... "Of course that doesn't mean that the local P.D. Officer who responds knows that particular part of the O.C.G.A. code very well."
This is the area where "Officers discretion" can be quite frustrating... and inconvenient.

i would conceal in a large indoor shopping mall, malls are notorious for not allowing easily scene firearms.

conceal the gun properly and no one will know about it, don't don't tell so to speak

With the crowd that's starting to get attracted to the MoG, I don't know that I'd want to go as an unarmed schmuck...

No sheet! Have you been to Gwinnett Place lately?! I used to have to go to Micro Center near there (and they have those stupid no-gun signs) and there were a few times my spider senses tingled!

By the way, those signs don't bother me, I have yet to have any issue carrying past them ;)
