Cerakoting a barreled action

If you have a really smooth action, and get it cerakoted, does it have any effect on the smoothness, good or bad?

Cerakote will wear through on all bearing surfaces. If you are doing it for corrosion prevention, I recommend micro slick for the internal parts. Comes in gray or black. I've cerakoted a few rifle bolts, but I put micro slick on the lugs at least. A little polishing of the bearing surfaces with fine steel wool and it'll be smooth as ever.

Here's a Cheytac M300 I did in sniper gray (stock in FDE) - I put micro slick on the lugs and bearing surfaces.
