Charging handle question

I have a couple BCM's and a couple of the SI ones. The SI's have worked well. I had a Badger and hate the angle it forces you to pull on it.

Would you prefer the SI over the BCM? Or are they about the same?

About the same. Both work well. Aesthetics are slightly different but that's really the only difference IMHO. The BACK does offer the large latch and small latch models. The SI matches well to the BCM medium latch

This brings up a question about the length for charging handled based on barrel length. I familiar with the three sizes of charging handles. what lengths go which barrel lengths?

Go with the one that works for you. For most folks, the Small doesn't give enough over the USGI to justify the cost, and the Large is big enough to catch on stuff, like clothing or a vest/carrier. The Medium is juuuuust riiiiiight.
