See i knew i just had to find the right guy! thanks. I plan on doing some research and picking me one out soon. If you were looking for a rifle to shoot and show off. But not one you would not want to take outside and shoot. which one would you buy? I am not looking to spend a fortune and not looking for a gold investment piece. More quality, shape and shoot-ability.

They are all combat rifle so any would do.
From least expensive to most expensive
Springfield Armory made the most some post WWII when available a Field grade at CMP runs $630 and a slightly nicer Service Grade $730.

Next affordable and still sometimes available is The post WWII HRA.
Winchesters are pricey very few under $1,000 and not available from the CMP except on their auction site or with new barrels and new stock no collector value.
International Harvesters made the fewest and rub from $1,200-$1,500 and up for a gap receiver
