I tried to enlarge it to see what series it is but can't seem to do it.

I have a fifty (series 1934) that I have had since the late 80's. Got it from a bank in RI when I was stationed there. I was headed to brother's house in Florida for Christmas leave and stopped in NJ to buy gas and the station would not take it because they thought it was counterfeit. I thought it was interesting so after checking with the bank, I just stuck it in the safe.

Probably the price of junk silver. Not really into coin collecting so I never do any research.

According to the 2020 edition of Red Book, they are worth between $10 for a Very Good up to $275 for a Mint State (MS-60). To me, those look to be slightly above the very good category, bit I am not a coin grader!!

Yes definitely for the age they are in good condition
