Custom S&W 58 by Defensive Creations

I’ll be shipping her off very soon, just to get it in Dave’s hands and out of mine. Dave said he works on guns in “batches” and is currently finishing up some 1911’s. Immediately after the first of the year he’ll be working on revolvers, including mine. He said the revolver work goes quicker than the 1911 work.

I'm following, but where is this "Quicker" thing you were talking about?? Asking for a friend......

All done! I don’t have it in hand yet, I’ll be getting the invoice tomorrow.

Ok, I think I know the answer but why bob the hammer?

My assumption is to negate snags...but is it worth it to lose the single action? Or are your expectations to never need to use it? I only ask because that's why I carry a humpback. Shrouded frame to reduce snagging but the thumb pad is still there for single action if I need it.
