CZ 75 FTE/F issues?

The full size 75 in .40 have had that as a somewhat common issue. Its easy to remedy though as it only takes changing a couple of springs. The 9mm and the compacts (P01, PCR) dont have that issue in either caliber.
That's what I was wondering/hoping.
Thanks! Any clue about the spring replacements?

Didn't really get into a bunch of specifics, he just mentioned it failed to eject and feed (sounded simultaneous) really often. Like 1 out of every 3 or 4 attempts.
He has a sideline with his FFL modifying Glocks and has a long history around various arms so it's not like he's flying blind but this is baffling to him. Again, different mags and different ammo.

I take it from the comments CZ has a U.S. based customer service center?

Sometimes pistols that are designed for 9mm and modified for 40, like most euro stuff, cycle way too fast for the extractor to work properly. I'd try a stronger recoil spring first.

I'm trying to recall but it depends on the failure. If the gun is stovepiping, I believe the very common setup was a 11-13lb recoil spring with a 15lb hammer spring. If the gun is failing to extract the spent round from the chamber and tryng to feed the next round, an extra power extractor spring will likely fix that. The extra power extractor spring is only recomended on the .40SW full size CZs.

Out of stock but this what you want:

If CZs have one weakness, it's definitely the stock springs. Or at least that is the consensus from the custom shops that work on CZs.

Since you're getting (presumably your first) CZ, get acquianted with this site as well: https://cajungunworks.com

David is a nice guy and will talk your ear off about CZs.

Thanks sparked. Info passed on and hopefully that is the answer!
My PCR never had an issue with probably somewhere around 1500 rounds through it before i sold it. I loved the gun and carried it for a little over a year. But I wouldn't trust any auto as my edc until I had personally put at least 300 rounds through it.
No doubt! I'll put more than that through it and it better run 100% before it'll be EDCd.

I wonder if this is the same thing since the other is out of stock. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/64...5-cz85-eaa-witness-springfield-p9-extra-power
