What do you do about leftovers? Or are there not any? I love a good gumbo or veggie soup with okra but I can't eat the leftovers because it gets goopy because of the okra.

okra loses it's "goo" after cooking for about an hour....no "goo" here....well the actual piece of okra will be a little gooy, but that's it...some like...some don't...results vary

More power to ya. The only way I like okra is fried. And I do like it. What you have is healthier

Tonight was ham, left over mac&cheese, steak house green beans and a piece of corn bread. I think she may have that down pat finally. Only 40yrs.........Her parents were wonderful chefs. My Wife does OK
