I thought the whole Pee Wee thing was cringe worthy but he did other things I thought were funny (The Spleen and Cheech & Chong). He was definitely an odd duck. RIP.

Peewee's Playhouse and Peewee's Big Adventure were unique and funny. Geared for kids, there was still a lot of stuff thrown in there for adults. You could see Phil Hartman's humor there as well. And we can't forget Morpheus was Cowboy Curtis in another life.
