Ended up going with a stainless 10/22 and she loved it! Havent seen her this excited since...well this excited about guns in a long time.

Nice buddy, if she liked the AR for the tacticool look and feel then you can swap out the stock on the 10/22 for a different one. Or build it up as a target rifle. Damnit now I want to go buy a 10/22
