Do I need a bill of sale in Georgia?

I just picked up an 03 Accord, got the title signed over, called my insurance, and took it to get its emissions, everything passed. Is this all I need to get it tagged? Someone told me I.needed to get a bos in order to get the title transfered over, is this true?

Tag office will tax you on the purchase price, if it was a private sale..Or just charge you kelly blue book price for tax amount..I know first hand

I have bought 3 vehicles this year in Ga and no BOS needed. Private party sells are not taxed on what you pay but the actual value.

I fought it and won, ACV is subjective, on condition, miles, upgrades so on..Bill of sale saved me!

In my county it didn't work out as well. I pay what they say or don't get a tag. Glad it worked out better for you though.

My county doesnt fool around either.Pay what they say or dont drive
