EGR delete HELP!!!!!

You don't have to run a tune with the delete. But you will have a check engine light. Did you check the connectors on the injectors? And are you getting any codes?

I don't have any codes. I've installed the EGR delete tune from SCT and I still have the problem.

Dont know much about modern diesels but i was under the impression from talking to a couple of buddies that the Cat needed the correct size holes drilled in it to provide enough back pressure to trick the sensor without restricting flow.

Just repeating what I heard about the process.

try shoving the egr up the blm movement and see what codes you get then.......just saying..... HI HONEY
I like her idea

If I keep the RPM's up it seems to run fair. But when they're low the truck shakes like crazy. And the fuel economy is out the window.

The easiest way to rule out a vacuum leak is with a smoke machine, but that's probably not something you're going to rent from autozone and not all shops have them.
