I find it funny, people are prepared for an unknown emergency, but can't manage to get to an emergency preparedness seminar with a days notice.

Oh we can laugh with the best of them......I see humor in irony all the time....and yes it is incongruity of not being able to attend is there......just did not find your observation very humorous in that (1) I do not know you, and (2) there are some on here that look down on those that prepare.
