entry level ar-15

As long as you are buying the models with forward assist/dust cover there is absolutely no functional difference between a DPMS ar-15 and any one of these brands .... other than boltable addons that come with (for a premium additional price)

Daniel Defense
S&W
Spikes
PSA
Olympic arms
Bushmaster
colt
DTI

well i guess i will add my .02 to this.

DO NOT BUY

DPMS
Anything with a plastic receiver
anything with a name you have not heard of

FACTORY GUNS I HAVE OWNED

Daniel Defense
S&W
Spikes
PSA
Olympic arms
Bushmaster
colt
DTI

all were great weapons and would own any of those again.

i think you would be better to build a PSA. JMO on it, i have built several and im building another now. as far as customer service it has been spot on with me.

OR you could buy this from PSA. sale ends on 10/8

I read this whole thread and the only thing I find puzzling is:

Someone stated that they shot out a DTI barrel? Do you know how many rounds that you would have to fire out of a barrel to shoot it out? Like 12-15K

Holy cow! Where can I get these Sub $700 Colts?

Someone actually bashed DTI and promoted DPMS...............

BTW PSA is running a Weekend sale on a M4 with Magpul flip up for $700.00 cant beat that!
