EVs are NOT America's future!

We own 2 hybrids and like them for commuting. I can overlook the few tradeoffs getting 53.2mpg for 40k in my Prius. I would not own a full EV car just due to all the charging headaches. EV vehicles (called golf carts) have been around for a long time and I grew up with them. That being said, mine runs on gas. $20 and 5 minutes at the gas station and I'm rolling agian.

I don't want to buy anything that can be shut-off remotely. One tesla owner got shut down because he wouldn't swap his loaner high capacity battery for the standard battery when it came available.
Pretty sure any modern gas/diesel can be shut off remotely. Anything with Onstar, Ford Sync, or Dodge Uconnect that allows a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth connection, remote start, tracking, navigation, remote diagnostics, etc.
