That's why I don't reload or buy reloads. I don't trust my reloading abilitiesBad reload. I found several after the fact that wouldn't seat fully in the chamber. Could have been an overcharge, or just simple case head separation from bad/old brass.
The box of ammo had been sitting on my dresser for over a year. Honestly I don't even know where they came from.
Taught me about squibs tooDang glad you're ok. Reminds me of the old "pop and no kick" they use to talk about at boot camp. Looked like it had as much kick as all the others though.
I've heard the term. What is it?Taught me about squibs too
Under charged round firing but not having enough oomph to exit the bbl. gun goes BANG BANG BANG pop if you're shooting paper a hole won't appear becuse the round is lodged somewhere in the bbl. inspect to verify and knock it out with a rod, don't inspect and shoot another behind it and banana peel your barrel. I hate squibs because I shoot fast 90% of the timeI've heard the term. What is it?

I learned the hard way too.I have seen too much foreign debris cause trouble at my work. It is now second nature to wear safety glasses. Hell, I literally will not shoot these days unless I have my shooting glasses on. Just not worth it.
