It's really a blast isn't it? We're fortunate to have some family property to shoot on. Don't have kids but taught my niece and nephew there. Now teaching their kids. Grand nephew (12) and 2 grand nieces (8 & 13). All still with a .22, though the 13 year old is now doing the Ruger Mark III 22/45 as well as a rifle. And yes, they are the ones who dubbed me Grunk. Great Uncle was too big a mouthful.
