Food plots?

whats everyond doing for plots? Im gonna come in completely dumb (because i am as far as whats worth it, and different times for it) what is good to plant for lasting in winter months? when do you plant yours? What do you plant? Etc

I plant a mix of Coker oats and seed wheat, triple 10 fertilizer, then overseed with some red top turnips. Always had good luck with it growing and the deer love it.........

Just don’t plant the wheat to early,the ga heat will burn it up.we usually don’t plant until 1st of oct.

We do summer and fall foodplots.. We planted 300 pounds of soybeans and 50 pounds of Lab lab one month ago.. we will prepare bow foodplots Labor Day weekend, and Gun food plots around Sept 21st..

Fall food plots are a fall blend with extra Oats added in the spreader...

Where do you get your soybeans and how much are they. We checked out some forage soybeans and they are $100 for 50 lbs. That is nuts!

Acworth feed and seed they were $28 a bag. Lab Lab was a $110 a bag..

Thats kinda what im after. the area i want to plant is in the middle of a 34 acre tract of woods. but have a spot completely cleared and flat ready for something. about 40yards wide and about 75 yards long.

Does that spot get decent sun? Did you harrow it with a disc?
