When I was 16 or 17 while bow hunting on decent size of land near my parents' house I came across a small old time refrigerator slap full of bones. I told the property owner about it, they called Gwinnett PD, a crew of forensic investigators came out and looked at the bones, when they pulled the top layer of bones out they identified them as animal but the deeper they dug the more silent they got and they ended up bagging a few up after saying they thought they could be human and left. I never hunted there again after that.
Well today I found an orange vest.
Been there for a while!
Me and my cousin found a poachers tree lounge while hunting on some of our family's property. we took our climber and climbed up the tree and put their stand about 20 ft up. last I saw its still there.
Found a plastic water bottle that dogs had been chewing on several miles into the national forest... Dont know why that stuck with me. Like wild dogs or coyotes enjoy just laying out there and chewing on junk too.

We had a member in our lease find a porno mag stash in a log along our property line once. This was back in the 90's in Talbot Co. There were some houses a short walk through the woods from that boundary.

I've found more than one of my stands just like this. Not a good find, especially in the dark a.m.
I find ladder stands and climbers on my property all the time. Figure i am gonna save them all up then have a garage sale. Found a couple bows that were hidden and some various hunting stuff. You think they would learn nope they just keep buying new stuff and putting it up. I have a garage full of free hunting stuff. My buddy says you should be proactive and boot them out. I said nah anyway here is a treestand lol
