Frog Lube is probably coconut oil

I've NEVER had a problem with 3in1 sewing machine oil. My family has used it for generations for firearm maintenance.

There have been firearms failures long before there was Frog Lube.
Who / what did you all blame for your failures before Frog Lube?

If Frog Lube's main component is coconut oil (as suspected) then that's not the best thing in colder temps. Coconut oil thickens in colder temps.

Because it was cold and I got a light primer strike from too much of that stuff in there.
I emailed frog lube and they told me to live based on some army manual for sold weather, which wasn't included in my purchase.

Changed and never looked back

yeah no ****.
there were no failures before frog lube.
then there was one
so I got rid of it.
and haven't had one since.
