Consider a shotgun for home protection, especially in that price range. Your money will go a lot farther with a shotgun IMHO.

i would say stay away from rgs jennings and the like but for 150 that is all you can buy. you need to spend $200 and get at least a 38 cal. for the home if you can have one gun i would say a pump 12g, good luck

I have a 12 g shotgun - shoot crows outta the pecan tree --- like to have a handgun when the boogy man comes calling.

Get a used shotgun.. Doesnt matter what it looks like as long as it goes bang!!
