Isn’t there another newish ammo place down the road from them in Carrollton?

Not that I'm aware of. Over 15 years ago there was a small gun shop and outdoor range in Temple that re-loaded ammo. I can't recall the name of the place. I bought a few boxes from them to test but had a few bad primers per box of 50. Never went back after that.

I'm not sure if it's still the case or not but they used to not bother updating their website because they had so many walk in customers. I always found the price there was different from online because they never updated the web page.

Ga Arms has always been a bit on the high side, and nowadays they are worse than before. I’ve bought plenty from them in the past, but I don’t bother with them these days.

My guess is that because they are using used cases that there prices are about 6 months behind what new factory ammo would be. That they are charging more because they bought a bunch at higher prices and with time it will go back down to slightly below factory new prices

They have always been higher than I could buy most calibers. I have bought some LSWC and HBWC 38’s from them years ago due to availability. They have a new boutique snub nose round which is also premium priced

I use to buy in bulk from them ( 5K to 10K per caliber, several different calibers) and I use to sell my brass back to them. Prior to 2008, they had the best thing going. After 2008, they stopped discounting for bulk orders so they became more expensive.

I sold my brass back to them once a year but it got to much of a hassle.

Still good for odd calibers but the most common calibers, not any more.

H2 ammo who's on ODT has some good prices and Dixie ammo bump use to, but I'm not even sure they are in business anymore.
