Are you panic buying Glocks like your life depends on it?

I doubt you have the experience with that to carry on with this conversation
thats very presumptuous, but you go on with that. Ill say, ide rather have that hammer cocked and slack out than that glock trigger to the wall. Unless I wasn't intending on pulling that trigger, but hey we all dont have those situations.
 
Gunpoint is wild...with a cocked hammer.
This view is usually enough to encourage compliance.

That's what that easy on/off 1911 safety is for.
The 1911 is a great combat role in a war theater. You pull that weapon, you're likely going to use it. In a situation where you might not have to use it, the Glock is better. It takes a second to a second and a half to react. You're already behind. Also keeping it simple is everything. In a gun battle one losses fine motor skills.
