I made eye drops from ivermectin vision better floaters going away
I can't see fer ****. Don't stand anywhere down range of me.
Crappy genetics. If intraocular pressure is too high it will deform the optical nerve. There's no warning signs without tests. Once the nerve gets to a certain point you start losing peripheral vision and will go blind in a month. There's no recovery from it. Doc wants to see me again in two months to make sure the drops are working. If not then they'll perform a surgery to relieve pressure. I believe they'll make small holes in my eyes to do that if it comes to that point. Hopefully, the drops work but I'll be on them the rest of my life.
That isn’t good. But if the drops do work, then at least you will have your vision. Even though you will have to use them the rest of your life.
I have had a bad time with eyes from the start. I was born with the muscles not holding them in place like they were supposed to so they would just wander everywhere. So after a couple of surgeries to help that then they started working on the retina and cornea so I could see worth a damn. As far as now, I can see and focus pretty decent and feel blessed that i have that going for me.
The clarity and cloudiness comes in waves it seems. sometimes I see pretty decent for 6-8 months at a time. Sometimes I cant focus or see for crap and it takes weeks to get them to work the way they should.
My wife has been dealing with this disease for 15 years. There are 2 kinds, sounds like you have the worst of the 2, as my wife does. Hers is extremely painful. Sometimes crying herself to sleep, because of the pain. There are different drops, some hurt when added, some dont. In the beginning they try the ones that dont hurt, if they fail, you get the painful drops. Still not working, 2 a day drops and surgery. Wife has had 2 surgeries on each eye, does the double painful drops. She has always worn glasses/contacts. After 15 years of treatment, her pressure has just started to drop to a somewhat acceptable level. And her eyesight has improved. She has a lower eyeglass prescription than ever before. So, there is hope my friend. She was so bad, we had to see to doc every 2 weeks. Now we go 2x a year. Do your drops, diligently. Follow docs recommendations. Stay positive. Nothing else will help, weed etc. I asked. Wife was told she would be blind in 5 years, 15 years ago. Stay strong, it can be beat. Many prayers from our family to yours. Good luck!!!
