Yes thats true avoid the acetone. I used the cheap Wally word stuff that has no acetone written on the bottle.

I used it for my Glock mags... at one point I had 9mm, 40s&w and 357sig mags ... all pretty much the same. I used three different color paint pens to colorfill so I could quickly tell them apart.
