Am Familiar with what your going through. My Uncle and my Mom went through it a couple years ago. I just got my wife home from the Hospital Today also after another week in. So I'm glad you'll at least be Home for Christmas. Hope you do well with your surgery. That Dilaudid can cause some nasty withdrawls sometimes to.

Hope you get better soon. My dad did 3 stays in the hospital about 2 years ago for complications related to a perforated ulcer. You ain't lying about the drugs they give you... he got loopy as hell sometimes.
