OP.....gunbroker and buds gun shop are solid resources foe seeing the price range that things sell for. I typically ignore asking prices by themself because alot of people believe their item is worth more than what others will pay for it.

If someone's asking price is close to retail, i will almost always pass and either buy new or wait for a better deal

Desert Eagle = its weight in gold
Rare never to imported again AK's = 3x their weight in gold
