Has anyone ever washed their guns?

Can't say I've washed it, but a good hosing out with brake cleaner in the trigger area and upper and chamber makes carbon removal a quick job. Soaking the carrier group in the drippings, then an additional jet flush get it's clean down to the phosphate, then re-oil.

and dont forget to pee down the barrels to remove corrosive powders
Don't do this, but there is some logic to it. Not for powder residue removal, but as a copper solvent. The more powerful copper solvents have ammonia in them. That's what makes up the majority of urine.

Maybe if you're a Cat!! LOL!

I'm now picturing calling Mr. Whiskers over and using kitty as an all in one solvent dispenser and bore mop!

HEHEHE!!!
