Have you ever discharged a firearm accidentally??

No, haven't had one yet. I act like I have because I know how easy it is to slip up and how deadly it can be. Here's hoping I can keep the streak going for a long time.

I was good too....for about 30 years....my 3 came all within 5 years.....none since

Bought a Walther 22 pistol at a gun show (around 1998), first pistol I ever had with a de-cocker. Setting in a hotel room trying to work the de-cocker (with alive round in it) and shot a hole through the bed. The absolute dumbest thing I have ever done with a firearm - I think about it every single time I handle a weapon.

I hunt with a Ruger 44 mag carbine and if you have ever had one you know the only way to unload them is one round at a time. I b no ever unload it

no. but the closest was at the range, i was shooting a heavy trigger gun, then switched to another pistol, all polished and stuff, and when i pressed the buttery smooth trigger, i immediately sent two down the range (the second was by accident)

inherited several "benchrest" guns from my dad....most of them had 2oz triggers....needless to say, you don't close the bolt, unless it's pointing in the direction you are wanting to shoot!!!
AND...you don't touch the trigger unless you want it to go boom!!!
Jewel triggers for the most part......one saying he had was when he called to order a particular trigger....they asked for the pull weight my dad replied 2 or 3 ounces....which came back..."do you want 2 ounces or do you want 3 ounces"....

A lb. is about my limit I think. I've handled some Bob Munden smithed pistols. Single actions with about a lb. to a lb. and a half. The hammer pull was like butter. That was too light for me

While I get the appeal of a lighter trigger pull, something I once heard someone say was, “If you’re in a situation where you have to defend yourself with a firearm, trigger pull won’t matter. You’ll be pulling it as quickly and as much as you can if that’s the case.”

Yeah both times was in a competition pulling out of a dump barrel
