Homeland Security buying 21.6 million more rounds of ammo

When that big order came through last year (the one supposedly for the Natl Weather Service and Social Security), I heard one bureaucrat explain that they were mandated to use 'similar' ammo in training as used in the field, so they just bought the same HP rounds for training.
When told that the HP rounds cost 2-3 times more than perfectly acceptable training ammo designed to simulate the HP rounds, they said they would rather just buy the HP rounds, so there wasn't any question if them being different.

What does the NWS and SSA need ammo for?
People are getting really tired of all the BS weather reports.....and the seniors are sick of not having enough money for bingo....man I tell ya its gonna be a REVOLT! :-)
that's probably why we can't find any mags either. They are buying them too cause they don't want to shoot all that 7 or 10 rounds at a time.
