1970 ish Forest Park babysitters ex kicked in our back door to get at her. Shot him in the face/shoulder with 22 rat shot. I was 12. He beat feet outa there.
1992 in Lebanon, Tn a local young man tried to kick down my hotel room door. Racked the slide on my .45 where he could hear it. Decided he needed to be somewhere else.

A long while back I had a DUI driver messing with me. I tried everything I could to get him to leave me alone. Sped up, slowed down, turned off, etc. He kept following me around, brake checking and swerving into my lane. At one point he forced me into a right turn lane. It continued escalating, not really sure what I did to piss him off I was just trying to get home from work. He came up on my left side, it was later in the evening so barely any traffic out. I capitalized on it and drew down on him. He applied the brakes pretty freaking quick and yanked it down a side road. Called 911 and spoke with an officer. Pretty much told me all they had was my side of the story and it sounded like defense. Without his side of it, in so many words, they told me I was good to go and don’t sweat it.
Showed it once to a couple of guys trying to bracket me while I was pumping gas. They left and I called PD so they could pull the gas station's video if they were interested. Never heard any more about it though.
I had My Jeep JK Wrangler windows tinted all of them with Ceramic and an added benefit, when I get gas I don't need to turn around..The reflection off the glass is outstanding now..Who Knew

Yup, gas stations make people easy targets.
Too many people are staring at their phones while pumping instead of keeping an eye out, and the gap between the pump and your vehicle is literally a 'dark alleyway'.
