as long as mark richt is the head coach at uga, we will never win a damn thing. it pisses me off as a uga alum, but nobody wants to get rid of him. he's such a nice guy.

Maybe you should study up on the difference between national championship titles back in the day and current titles.

And like I said, it was one poor pass play that caused the loss. If Georgia had won that game with you have still said they shouldn't have one because of all those other mistakes?

UGA is not an elite level football team. Top tier, yes, but elite, no way.

so it's my fault that titles back then aren't measured the same way as they are now? guess that means no stats from back then should count compared to now. u mentioned woodruff is the only one who contributed anything to uga football, but that's funny how he came around before both mehre and butts? hypocrisy?

all these richt lovers keep saying "what if." we don't live in a world of what ifs. i live in a world of what happened. and what has happened is mark richt and the uga football team have no chips

and if uga is not an elite team who's to blame? do you blame it on the players? sure, but u can only blame them for 1 yr until they leave. that leaves the 1 staple of our program. and that's the head coach. i blame the head coach.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, if I was the father of a son that played D1 ball, I'd want him to play for Richt. If I was the A.D. for a university, I'd want to have Saban.

Because I do think Rich is a man of character, something that can't be said about many D1 coaches. At the end of the day, if it was my SON, I'm more concerned about the character of his coach than the ability to win at any/all costs.

so u saying nick saban has less character than mark richt? cuz from the way i see it, both coaches have equally as many players suspended for violating ncaa rules

Yes, I do think Saban has less character than Richt. I judge a man by his words and deeds not by those of his 'students'.
I did understand what you wrote about a couple of championships. Which is why I asked what if he won LESS than he would have if he wasn't crazy? Thought it was clear enough.... guess not.
