Hunting 11.23.14

I just cancelled on going this morning after seeing high winds and thunder storms where we hunt starting at 7am. Sitting in a metal tri-pod next to the lake with wind and lightning doesn't sound like the smartest thing to do. Wet metal stands and thunderstorms sounds like a possible Darwin award contest. Hope everyone says safe that goes out in the woods and make sure to let someone know where you are planning on hunting.

I had cut few new shooting lanes last night with the tractor, but after checking weather forecast I got lazy and stayed in bed.

I've seen 2 does and a 4 point so far this morning. All of them were too small to shoot. Treestand umbrella really helps in this weather.

I keep looking outside wishing I was hunting but bowhunting in the rain is always a bad idea. I hope it lets up this afternoon so I can get in a hunt before dark.
