I broke my outdoor spigot..

Appears to be all brass fitting, you should be able to unscrew spigot out of housing and replace. Leave your water off inside

It's a hose bib, unscrew the jam nut, unscrew the valve and bring the valve to HD or ACE etc...and replace.

Ditto...simple fix. Replace the stem. Bring the old one to HD to match up style.

I ordered it. It takes care of the "right now" fix, plus I like the lever style over the knob anyway. I'll fix it the right way down the road, when I have more time.

You asked for a simple solution. They sell them at Home Depot or Lowes if ypu want one today.
