Plumbing don’t have plumbing license but know what I’m doing. Just can’t afford to take the test yet

How much would taking the test and getting licensed increase your income? The self employed plumbers I knew seemed to do pretty good. Don’t have a number to put on that but they had nice houses, cars, etc....

The test is only $35 but there is a class you can take to pretty much guarantee you pass for $750. Yeah i don’t make 30k

I was speaking to a plumbing contractor recently and he told me that good plumbers are becoming scarce and that licensed plumbers can fetch 6-figure salaries in some cases.
