I drug my very first 1911 out of the safe, thinking I'd clean it up a bit and sell it...After changing grips and fondling her for a while, I just can't bring myself to let her go. I learned a Boatload experimenting with this one(and it still works!) My first trigger install, first beavertail fit, first barrel recess-crown(or whatever it's called) I fit my first set of handmade grips to her, she was the first(only) one to drop out of my horizontal shoulder rig, Onto a rock!....Just can't let her go. You got one you just won't part with? I'd love to see it....
