I need to make a machine bracket/brace that slides on dual spaced rails.
I need to make it glide easily with virtually no wobble or resistance.
What I am visualizing is brackets with nylon bushings sliding on round rails.
Does anybody know where I can find this kind of stuff locally?
I need precision components for this project that are not prohibitively priced.

How much travel do you need?? May could cannibalize the parts from something like a radial arm saw??

this. plus try calling some of the leading manufacturers of radial arm saws, and see if they can send you some "replacement" parts for yours. or pick one up cheap from craigslist.

A member was kind enough to PM me about McMaster-Carr. No luck. What I would like to find are brackets with nylon bushings that will ride on chrome rails. I hadn't thought about the radial arm saw. That might work for part of the project. I'll have to go take a look at a few.
