I saw a wolf?? tonight in the woods behind my house

I have heard that crosses of wolves and 'yotes are much larger than either. I was skeptical until I saw a "Liger" (cross with lion and tiger) that was almost 9 ft. long and 800 lbs. Could have been something like that????

I owned a wolf hybrid when I was younger...May have been what you seen ( not saying you seen the one I owned he died many years ago)...Not ever seen a black panther, but a couger ran across the trail in front of me while riding my dirtbike dang near hit it! Not just a glimpse of one I seen it and it seen me!

Unless it was an escaped pet it was not a wolf. The closest wild wolves to Georgia are many hundreds of miles away. It was most likely a Malamute dog.

There are known wolf populations in NC and possibly in TN, so why wouldn't it be possible that there was one here? Like mentioned, try to get a wildlife cam pic!
