So the wife, and I, are watching Dirty Dancing and there's that part where "Baby" asks her dad for the shmashmortion money and it's $250. Curious as to how much that would equate to in 2013, I googled it. According it http://www.davemanuel.com/inflation-calculator.php that would $1,908.40. That of course led me to wonder what a tax stamp would cost had it followed inflation. $3,508.77. Yep, over $3500!

I still hate it and think it's a crock but $200 is a LOT better than $3508.77!!
