How about reloading?
Everyone I know that does it finds it to be a great hobby and a way to save money.
If you cast your own lead bullets it really makes you feel comfortable in a SHTF kind of way.
It's very mentally therapeutic......

well, read up on the silver page we have under this forum. might be itneresting and you can do pretty cool things such as hit up estate shows and snag sterling silver. you can trade it out or melt it into ingots yourself. its something i have been thinking of getting into, making my own ingots and what not

Try volunteering at something a few hours a week. Maybe coaching a kid's sports team, Childrens Hospital, meals-on-wheels, local animal shelter, etc. It's not quite a hobby in the traditional sense, but you still may find it fulfilling and rewarding.

I am a custom metal fabricator by trade (and my business). But I love woodworking. Especially wood carving! I have made a decent amount over the years on commission work too. My favorite is carving walking sticks.....
