This was my Great Grandfathers little revolver. Its 32acp, and has no identifying marks other than the Colt grips. I have tried a google search but nothing comes up with a octagon barrel. The only thing I have seen that is close is a H&R. Any input would be appreciated.

It is most likely 32 S&W. 32 ACP will fit in a 32 S&W but I would not recommend firing.
It is not a Colt, no matter how nicely the grips fit.

It looks like an Iver Johnson Bulldog but I would guess some copy of it.
I would expect a real IJ to have markings, and there are some minor differences.

(It's ok it is not a "live" auction.)
