There is no code section which requires you to carry or present your card. But it's probably a good idea to keep it on you.

Actually your GWL is similar to your drivers license.
You are supposed to have it with you whenever you are carrying.

It shall be required that any license holder under this Code section have in his or her possession his or her valid license whenever he or she is carrying a weapon under the authority granted by this Code section, and his or her failure to do so shall be prima-facie evidence of a violation of Code Section 16-11-126

Some have argued that the law doesn't say "on your person." Not that I want to be the test case.

You have always been able to use one of the clips attached to the gun with no holster.

iirc HB 89 repealed the holster requirement in 2008.

Wow, shows you how long I've been out of touch! It's good to know I can stuff my NAA in my pocket. I still like my versacarry for da cannon tho.

Thanks to GeorgiaCarry I can carry my LC9 in my pocket sans holster.
