Be cool when they realize a couple of generations into the trip that extended space travel has killed off all production of male sperm. Just a dead ship wandering the universe.

This idea was done in the TV series Ascension (2014). A generational interstellar voyage to another Earth-like planet, along with all the soap opera drama and office politics you could imagine. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3696720/
There is a big plot twist though: the ship really isn't travelling through space (even though the people onboard believe it to be); it's in a government facility here on Earth. Just a big experiment to see if people could manage to not kill each other after so many years of being trapped in a giant steel test tube. I saw it on Prime last year. It's only 6 episodes, so you could binge watch it if you liked the 18 minute video. And no, I'd stay here on earth.
