In this part of east Tennessee the biggest industry is marijuanna growers and pill smugglers. People are tired of having their property trashed or destroyed and the law can not keep up with them so this is one way that people are going to lash out at the problem. Hell they're lucky to be alive as most vehicles with out of state plates, in this backwoods area, are usually given a few rounds in the mirrors and tires. Sad that people are to the point that they shoot first and ask questions later but these people DON"T PLAY!! Over the years with the TVA, National Park Service, Revenuers and now the dope growers, these "hillbillies" are tired of getting screwed over. They don't trust ANYBODY and don't give a rats a$$ what you think about it. When the SHTF it will be just another day for these folks. Been there .....done that!
