What was there before a sink?

Looks like I'm not the only one doing plumbing this weekend. Lol

There was a sink where the shower is now. It was a half bath that I'm turning into a full bath. I had to move the walls out to accommodate it.

I've done those before. Thats what's in the master. This is going in the downstairs playroom area. My wife didn't want to have to clean any more tile showers .

If you would of bought a Kohler shower receptor with left hand drain it would of fit in the footprint of the bathtub that your existing drain is at no jackhammering the floor. www.kohler.com/showerreceptor

I looked for one with an end drain but couldn't find one that would fit in the room. I know you pay for what you get but the Kohler pan is almost what l paid for the whole kit.

Probably not acrylic then. Will be OK as a once in awhile shower. Your wife will still have to clean the heck out of it.....

other shower kits are not ok for frequent use?

putting the mudbed under it keeps the pan from flexing, which will lead to cracking.

also helps make sure you're true level.

They're fine. They just stain quicker.
