I hate both keymod and mlock but I hate mlock more.


I really have no use for either other than the look of the rail. I don’t trust either for attaching accessories.

With Civilian use I really don’t see a big issue with key mod. It’s trim design and light weight.98%of us throw on a flashlight and fore grip then call it a day anyway. Most take a class or shoot with it at the range every now and then to stay proficient.. that’s far from the amount of abuse reported in the crane report.

Op said he didn’t like M-lock?. If the rifle is not a duty rifle and will serve the needs OP why down play it? Just because it’s not as strong or as popular doesn’t make it less effective for OP’s intended purpose
