Now what's the deal with the green tip 5.56? is it really steel core or what's the thing about the penetrator? I cut a few open unsuccessfully to see what was in them and still have no idea.

yes they are steel core "semi armor piercing" rounds

The guy in the video discovered hollow points don't penetrate like FMJs and barrel length affects ballistic performance. Tune in next week for "The sky is blue."

Well, HP vs non-HP, and steel penetrator vs non penetrator.

Im not *****ing, it was a good test, but if he want the most accurate results, use m193 and FMJ .300 on a 16" barrel.

Edit, looks like he did change some things on video #2.

Yeah, video two takes care of the problems with video #1. What I found most amazing was the 7.5 inch 5.56 was the only sub 10" gun that was able to get through the steel plate. Of course, they didn't test 5.45 out of an SBR so it may have as well.
