Lake Lanier/Gainesville Shooting Areas?

I would double check the laws on the "shoot on national forest thing" Pretty sure it clearly states no target shooting.......

I didn't realize this either. That opens up some real possibilities when it's not hunting season.

I belong to a sailing club on Lanier , and someone mentioned that the Army Corp was letting people shoot geese on old federal. Boats have to be anchored. I have a boat, and would love to make some goose jerky.

Who's in?

I'd be in on the Co-op idea, some place in Buford or Flowery branch would be good for me.
